Oh man – what a great day a racing!

It was such an exciting first weekend of racing! Perfect weather in Santa Ynez for the Poor Kids College Road Race on Saturday and identical weather in Goleta for the Mothballs Criterium. And METALMTN was out in force!

Saturday Trevor & Derryl raced the Men’s Cat 3 – 2 laps with a newly returned, uphill finish up Foxen Canyon. Derryl finished 2nd by a long shot! (see the pics) and Trevor came in just behind him in 6th. 4 men right at the line – great finish!

Mothballs was a solid day of racing. Everyone was a bit excited – most racers doing 2 and 3 races! John did 3 races (wow)! I don’t know all the places – you’ll have to check the results, but the METALMTN Team was amazing! We had 5 out there in the Men’s  35+ 3/4 – Mike Lilly, Rich Klusman, John Negley, John Camilli & Dominic Clark.

Men’s 35+ Open – Trevor, Rich Klusman, John Camilli and Derryl were at it again. Then Trevor and Derryl waited around and did the Pro 1/2/3. Fast racing!

And Nicole Leroux represented in the Women’s 1/2/3 race!

METALMTN Racers were out in force this weekend!

Gary  is working hard to make a scene in his first season of racing! With 5 races down and some serious results – A FIRST PLACE,  2 second places, a fifth, a sixth! He’s kickin ass! We only have one pic to show you, but it’s of his WIN! Check it out:

Dave’s also starting the season early! In one day, he raced 3 crits and got a 6th and 2 7th places! In one day – crazy! No pics yet, but will post if we get some.

The Cyclocross Season is still going strong and the METALMTN Racers are killin it!

This past weekend, the SoCalCross Prestige Series was in Long Beach – Mark, Tim & Colby all raced and here some great shots! The guys have all had amazing results this year in cross. We’re looking forward to the Ventura race and Cross Nationals!
