METALMTN Racers were out in force this weekend! And what a great weekend it was! Saturday we traveled to Devil’s Punchbowl for a grueling road race. Some of us did two laps and others went around that loop three times! That’s 1500 feet of climbing per lap. Kudos to all you racers!

On Sunday, we showed up yet again for some fast crit racing in Santa Clarita. Great course. Beautiful weather. The women’s team had a blast in the 3/4 race attempting breakaways and practicing our team tactics.

It was a gorgeous day in Bakersfield today. Really!! The weather was amazing. The De Vlees road race is beautiful and hard! A hilly 30 mile loop. We had a great team out there today and hopefully we’ll collect some great pics to post.

What a great stage race! It’s fast and easily accessible. Great for spectating. We had Trevor Dunn there and Daniel Ramsey.
