Here at METALMTN, we are enthusiastic about all types of bicycles, cycling events and styles. As such, we keep up with the latest trends and review the latest technologies religiously. If you’re looking to purchase a bicycle METALMTN does not offer, but would like to ask questions about fit, model selection and componentry, contact us for a professional consultation. METALMTN offers experience and expertise in helping you make an informed purchase.

New Bicycle Consult – $100: For a flat fee, we will work with you to review the bicycle you have in mind to purchase from another retailer. We are confident in our ability to review the geometry, handling, fit and componentry guiding you to the most appropriate bicycle choice.

Component Consult – $30: There is no charge, when you buy your componentry from METALMTN. We have the ability to obtain nearly any aftermarket bicycle component and when you purchase from us, we will provide advice, expertise and service at no charge. If you would like to order your components from a mail order or secondary auction site, we offer our consulting service to help you make an informed purchase.

METALMTN offers expert repair and maintenance for all styles of bicycles. For existing customers, METALMTN provides maintenance services at a reasonable labor rate for the lifetime of ownership. ** This Old World, multi-day process involves gluing a tubular tire to a rim, in order to gain the ride characteristic benefits (supple and constant traction). METALMTN exclusively uses Vittoria Mastik’One glue, and does not use tubular tape of any kind. A properly glued tubular begins with time spent on one of stretching tires and rim prep, to ensure clean installation. From there, you can expect to see at least three layers of glue on tire and on rim.
